Competition in Salavat, Russia

Russian skills
An amazing story was sent to us by our Russian Team Pioneer members. They scored first place with only a few basic components, but with a big bag of skills.
While the new equipment we ordered was still on its way to Russia, we decided to go to the competition in Salavat. We needed a rating for our Peugeot 207 very urgently. Results: we took all 4 first places, so we had a very good appearance!
BUT! The moest incredible result was of Viktor (his fingers were itching for competition). He installed a car, an old Peugeot 1007 so, that was already a shock for most people:

Only components in this car were: Pioneer DEH-P88RSII headunit, Pioneer PRS 2 way speakers, and that was all! No amplifiers, no subwoofer, no competition wiring (all wires came of our stock!). Budget for this system - 700 euro with installation (it only took 3 hours to install all!
When we were asked to come on stage - all people thought it was a joke...... because the.class was not so simple - Advanced 5 channel with.7 competitors....but.... Viktor placed first!
Unbelievable result! All forums in Russia are telling about it!!! Only about new P88RSII head unit!!

Germans scoring at local events
The Opel Meeting in Oschersleben was the biggest event this month with > 50.000 Visitors. Pioneer was the main sponsor of the EMMA- Event. Lars Neuper, Björn and Andy managed a small booth with their cars on display.
Results: Lars 2nd (Advanced 7), Andy 2nd (Advanced unl.), 3rd (Racing) 1st (Show And Shine) and Björn in his first competition ended being 4th (Advanced unlimited).
Susanne Böhm now has a set of 19" wheels on her car so that we can show it on tuning events. This was at the "Schwab Tuning Day" on June, 1st in Neuss, whe she displayed the Beetle among around 300
othe tuned cars.

Lars in Sweden
Lars Olsson, our Swedish Team member beated a strong field of competitors in Norrkoping, Sweden. Lars' car is mainly focussed on Multimedia. He took first place in his class, leaving everyone behind him.

Bernard strikes again
Bernard strikes again with a second victory in one month. In this report he explains how it all went.
I have the pleasure to inform you that I entered another PACA contest in Avignon on the 18th of May, where I succeeded in strongly representing Pioneer.
Again I received first prize in my category ‘Ultimate’, which made me very happy as there were a few strong competitors who had some nicely installed cars as well.
I believe that the calibration of my in-car audio is improving a lot. Doing competitions allows me to refine this even more.
We also worked hard on our presentation, following the advice of the judges in Sinsheim. Now I can show a lot thanks to the cardboards we made.
Finally we finished the decoration of the car, but we chose to keep it simple, sober and clean. Check it on the pictures attached.
So two victories in two French competitions... I enjoy it and it gives me hope for the Emma event.

Another Team Pioneer victory
Hi everyone
This time we take you to the beautiful French Provence where our Team member Bernard participated at a local event on the 11th of May
This is his report:
Because there are no IASCA events in France I participated in the PACA in the Alpes, Côte d’Azur, It is a regional championship in a nice place called Chateauneuf Les Marigues, with loads of sunshine
As you can see in the pictures I felt like ‘a god in France’ because I took first place in ultimate class, comparable with the Professional Emma category.
Let’s drink one on another Team Pioneer victory.

Tuning World Bodensee
Hello audio tuning fans
Again another report from one of our German Team Pioneer members, Björn. Björn is a new member since the beginning of 2008 and is passionate about audio and tuning. He has put a lot of blood, sweat and tears in his Opel Corsa, a.k.a. "Yellow Miracle", which he loves to show on several events and on his website www.gelbeswunder.de. He doesn't have his own shop, but you can find him often in Car Audio Exklusiv, Dirk Wölfinger's shop in Hahnstätten.
Recently he went to TUNING WORLD BODENSEE. Check out his report right here:
TUNING WORLD BODENSEE has been attracting the mass for five years. This is because TUNING WORLD BODENSEE is not only a perfect product show, but also a large community: "Here is where the tuning scene meets, talks to shops, exchanges information about new products and has a lot of fun."
And I was part of it from 1st May till the 4th May 2008 at the Pioneer stand. My Opel Corsa B, the Shelby Cobra GT and, of course, the Pioneer girls attracted a lot of visitors, exhibitors and media representatives. Just to be mentioned: The event gathered headlines in the media: a total of 447 journalists from 10 countries, including 17 television teams from broadcasters and online productions were registered. It was a very nice time …. looking forward to the next fairs… .

Please enjoy this report of our Team member Lars Neuper:
Last weekend (10-11 May 20008) I was in Bautzen (a place near Polen) at the “VW-Pfingsttreffen”, where also an EMMA Event was being organised. I started in the Sound Quality class Advanced 7 and in the ESPL class Experienced woofer 1. In the Sound Quality class I finished 2nd. And in the ESPL class I became first.
