Mcr rocked Werchter
They were so freaking awesome, but there were some downsides for me too, so here's the story:
First, there was this large sign on which kept appearing "my chemical romance autographs at 7.15 p.m, it was 6.30 by then, so I got to the line to wait for the autographing to start, and I was with the first twenty or so. Then, at 7.15, on the sign appears "my chemical romance will NOT sign", I thought I was gonna cry then.
I don't know why they didn't sign. It wasn't because they weren't there, because I saw Gerard in the StuBru-cabin giving a radio-interview, but that was done by the time they would have signed.
I got to the stage to get a good place to see Billy Talent. This was really amazing, but boy, is the singer hyperactive!!!!
Then Zornik came on. This is a group from Belgium, and I like them, but not a lot.
Then: MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE!!!!!!
They came on stage and I went crazy of course, but I didn't yell or scream because I wanted to save my voice to sing. Ray came on stage and it was really cute that he looked at Frank and laughed.
Then I started to cry because the moment they were on stage, I had this emotional shock because now they were real. Before they were just photographs and soundwaves, but now they were there, real flesh and blood. I suddenly realized my saviours were real, normal people, and it shocked me so hard to realize this (and because I had been waiting for this realisation for a long time) that I had to cry.
I don't even now anymore what Gerard said then or with which song they started.

I had to cry during cemetery drive (like most of the time)
Gerard was quite funny:
- he used his british accent "would you like to dance?"
- when the sun was coming up "hey there's the sun, there's the sun. You over
there, isn't the sun blinding you too much? Make sure you aren't burning up
there" something like that...
- he acted like a chicken
- he 'cried' after mama and said while 'crying': "I am so upset. Oh my God...
shit"
- he said "you're all cramped up in a little space. It's amazing. You're all very
intimate with eachother if you know what I mean. I want to be very intimate
with you." ----> I was dying when he said that
- he thanked the street team (although I didn't think the street team did very
much, because I'm in the street team and I was never contacted for some
action)
- he said "if someone falls down, you pick him up. No matter how much fun
you're having, if someone falls, you pick him the fuck right up, ok?"
- before "cancer" he said "all of you affected by this disease in any way, this
song is for you"
Frank was quite funny too while teenagers:
- while "they keep an eye on you son", he rubbed his eye with his
finger in a really funny way
- while "because they sleep with a gun", he held his guitar in a
way like he was going to shoot us with it, but still played it
- while "and strike a violent pose", he stuck his middle finger up and waved it
all over the place
- he chucked over the microphone with his foot and he tried to get it back up
by kicking it again, but it just got up and fell on the floor again on the other
side, but he had to sing in it, so he just got on his knees and kept playing the
guitar while he was practically with his face on the floor to sing in the
microphone
Bob did something (or at least I thought he did). He lost his sticks I think.
I saw his sticks fly out of his hand and it was right after a song, so Gerard went over to him to get a drink and Bob looked around for his sticks and when Gerard was there too he laughed at him because he lost his sticks.
After the show, the last song (helena), Bob was playing the drums and after the last notes he just let go of his drumsticks in the middle of the air and they flew against the backwall of the stage, I thought this was very cool to see
That's all I remember, if you were there and you see what I forgot, please tell me, I want this so complete as possible
When they went of the stage, I had to cry again, because I was so fucking happy. I never cried of happiness ever, but this was the first time and my friends thought I was crying because they left, but it was because I was so freaking happy.
Afterwards I wanted to buy a t-shirt, because I know they sold them, but I hadn't bought one yet. I went to the shirt stand and the shirts weren't there anymore, so I asked the guy and he told me MCR had already left and took all the shirts with them. That almost made me cry too, but I was so happy I had seen them, the feeling of crying was over soon

yes indeed, you read it right, they played headfirst for halos!
Gerard said "yesterday, we played a song off bullets, and it was the highlight of the show. Do you want us to play a song from bullets?" we all screaming "yeees" he said "ok, to the older fans who know the song and to the new fans a new song"
they started the new song, called 'stay awake' although I'm not sure about that, and it was amazing! (someone recorded it, it's in my videosection)
there were some funny things going on too:
- someone threw a little bear at Gerard's feet and he was like "oooh thank you"
and he placed in on top of the drums
- Gerard saw someone in the front row with a camera with a big lense and he got
it from that person and pretented to take a pic with it and gave it back
- Gerard saw someone in the audiance holding a rose, he ordered that person to
give it to him and he put it in his mouth and walked across the stage and then
he turned away from us and when he turned back he had put the rose between
his pants and his belt
- In a certain song, Gerard stopped singing and he held the mike before Mikey
and he looked so confused because he probably didn't expect Gerard to do that
and when he understood he had to do something he just whistled in the mike
and then Gerard got it back and continued the song
- In the song "I don't love you" Gerard pointed at Mikey while singing "when you
get back, I'll be off to find another way" and then he said "get it?"
- Also in the song "I don't love you" Gerard sang "after all this blood that you still
owe, another dollar's just another blow" instead of "after all this time that you
still owe, you're still a good-for-nothing I don't know" and then he said "I really
fucked up the lyrics, didn't I?"
- I noticed Gerard didn't sing the line "I will never marry" in Cancer
- Before teenagers, someone threw a high school ID on stage and Gerard
picked it up and said "I've got someone's high school ID here. Marianne ... I've
got your high school ID, ok?" and put it in his back pocket
- at the beginning of the show, Gerard asked "what language do we speak
tonight? german? french? BONJOUR, BON JORNO, ...""how do you say 'thank
you' in your language? MERCI?"
- Gerard asked "how are you all today?" everyone screamed. Gerard said "I don't
care!" After the song, Gerard asked "how are you doing today?" and everyone
was screaming and he said "I still don't care!"
- In the song 'Mama', instead of crying at the end, Gerard said"Mama, mama, why
did you do this mama?"
- Before 'teenagers' Gerard said "this is a song about people like you!"
- Before 'give 'em hell, kid', Ray and Gerard were both talking. It was something
like this G: "you know, when you get up and you're late" R: "and it's a bad day
and it's pooring" G: "and you have to go to work and you know you're gonna get
shit from your boss""Are you our bosses? Well, are you? Fuck no, you aren't!
We have no bosses! That's the great thing about all of this"
- Gerard picked up a long black whip from the ground and said "how did you
guys manage to get this bull whip in? What is it doing here?? I'm gonna save
that for later" and he laid it down.
I noticed a boa lying on stage, but Gerard didn't touch it.
Mikey was back! And how!
I never saw him in real person before, but, god, he's smoking hot and he looks like a very nice person!
It struck me that he was looking at the audiance in a certain way. Not just look at it, but it seemed like he was really looking at the kids IN the audiance. It looked like he was seeing all these different kids instead of one mass and he looked overwhelmed by that.
I don't know what the matter was with Frank, but he just stood there the whole night, headbanging. He didn't jump around or got on his head like he used to, he just didn't leave this area of two metres from his microphone and didn't do anything silly. I thought this was weird.
Also, I don't like the fact I haven't seen Frankie's face in real life yet. I saw mcr two times now, but both of them Frank's hair was so long I couldn't see his face, what's a pity because he's very beautiful and my room is full of pictures of him.
Gerard was being silly as always On a certain moment, all the tall people in front of me weren't there anymore, so I was the tallest above some others and on this moment Gerard looked me straight in the eyes for a couple of seconds. I was so shocked that it took a couple of seconds for me to realize and then I thought 'raise your hand and wave!' but by the time that command got to my arm, Gerard looked away. Probably I just imagined this, but it would be cool if it's real.
Ray looked good I couldn't see his face very well, his fro was too long
Bob wasn't there, unfortunatly. He's got something with his arm and I really missed him, because it wasn't the same without him!
