The first one is "Nuclear Breaking"
I feel it is kinda complete

it is about a nuclear holocaust and how life will be afterwards.

it is quite noisey dark ambient but it also becomes very aggresive when the drumbeats kick in, then all hell breaks loose and it has a nice grim ending aswell.

the track is 40+mins

it was originially intended for a special kind of split cd experiment, but that has been long overdue coz i was busy with my studies and now i think the track stands far too well on its own.

In retrospect i like the beginning and ending most, the middle part with the rockets launches, mutant dogs and beats ..i dunno.

The second track is called 'Futile Passing', it is a different version of the one i made for the Bone Struct rec. Compilation CD.

Death, dying and pointlessness of life.

Everytime when someone dies, you get engaged in the most deep, dark and pointless conversations about the meaning of life.

My mother said she felt good about her possesions, big house, expensive clothes n stuff.

She's very materialistic, I myself never gave a damn about money or possesions. You can't take em with you anyways. So i've allways been of the opinion that you should have a rich life in actions and memories. That you want to see an interesting movie, when you die.

But then again, just as possesions, you can't take your memories with you just as well.

And lastly there is another big idea, and that is to create or do something lasting longer than your own biological existence.

It can be something artistic, or it can be a action (heroic or not) with lots off 'echos' into the future long after you have died.

But then again, if you're no longer there, it was just something that made u feel good with yourself while you were alive. Not at all dissimilar with my mother feeling good about herself coz she's got a big house.

So we are all free to do whatever we want with it, and if we aren't total losers, we can steer our lives any direction we want.

But in the end.
In absoluteness.
It is still just as fucking pointless as it allways has been.

HILARIOUS!!!!
Subject: A paranoid adventure through dinner.

This is one of those "must see" films at Prelinger as it is one of the wierder films here. Esentily it shows a group of friends having a dinner party, however what should be a lesson in basic table manners is turned into an expierience in Paranoia by the one uninvited guest, the Narator. The Narator in this film finds room to critisize about every little thing that happens at the party, he adds a level of tension that is almost unheard of for a dinner "Betty wonders if sh should try Floyd's method of eating the olive" "Should Bob be giving the girls smaller portions" "Bob sat on his Napkin" "Betty wonders if she's giving too small a serving of salad" the Narattor never really answers the questions he asks but we presume that everthing he states should be done untill he mentions "it's important to note all the things done right at this dinner" although he never mentions what these are. The best part though is how the Narrator stresses that "Rules make sense"(I'm paraphrasing here) before mediling over the way Betty eats an olive. One thing I should point out. time has not been kind to this film and it is missing a couple frames here and thier, so be forwarned. Actually though that just adds to it's quirkiness.

het vorig optrede(marduk en unleashed) (met stadsssnacht erbij) ongeveer 70 euro opgedaan en ik had dan nog vervoer ook hé!, én ik was regelmatig getrakteerd! Optredes kunne echt enorm duur zijn, stel u voor dak ook nog met den trein erges nor fuck weet ik waar zou hebbe moette gegaan. pffff, ni te doen.

Lots of breakups lately: winterdepression?

Surprisingly lot of couples that i've known to be together for many months to even yr+ i've seen breaking up lately.

How come?

Are these ppl also effect by winterdepression FX?

I, myself, as of late seem to be having some serious trouble finding anybody that suits my (too high standards.

That together with other stuff, made me realise i was/am in a bad mood for way too long.

And trust me, that is not a pleasant discovery about yourself.

But I think "winterdepression" might be affecting me.

I usually say i am in a bad mood, 'coz shit isnt going the way i planned. But THO, shit never goes the way as planned, that is just normal. And yeah, that makes you pissed, but it shouldnt go beyond that. And i feel darker than just merely ...pissed.

So i make a tea out of it daily, see if it helps.
Very interesting herb, it can give you (and even cattle) sunburn if used when exposed to heavy sunshine.
And yes, it has very strong connotations with blood, as it contains oil that resembles blood, it a handy way to determine during picking that u got the right herb.
I call it the happy vampire herb or something similar myself

So i use that, plus i also turn on a kind of UV light that i once had to use coz i had an iguana. They need tropical sunlight, and this light emits a lightspectrum that shud resemble tropical sunlight.
It might help too, and no worries, its not only winter but i am actually awake at night lately. (6am here)
So i really wont get sunburn from just that lil lamp.

Anybody got other suggestions, let me know.

And nooo i'm not gonna see a shrink.
I'd rather kill myself than do that.

Whenever somebody asks me about Monk's Hood and i tell em its about a medieval monk solving murder mysteries, then they automaticle ask if its from the same writer as "In the name of the Rose", well it isnt, that book was written by Umberto Ecco. Or how the fuck he was called again, the same writer as he who wrote the "Hallucinating Foucoult". Nevertheless it was a very interesting read, u're completly plunged into medieval england time approx 1200 ad.
The other book was about a Norwegian South Pole expedition from 1911. Also very interesting story, in those days it was all done with dog-sleds, and actually large part of the story is about the dogs. They had a 100+ dogs when they left and about two yrs later when they returned had only about 40 of those dogs who survived. If ur one of those overly emphatic animal lovers beware tho, the dogs were not only kept alive with pemmikan, but also with the dogs that could no longer keep up, ...and pups. And not only the dogs...

And so you might have noticed i listen to classical works and i read the rather new works.
With "War of the Worlds" i am goin into the origins of science fiction, all engineers especially electronical and ict ones like science fiction, thus so do I. I allways felt SF has a 'larger than life' quality to it. Well good SF at least, no dumb soap operas.

You know, they say when you are dreaming that you are falling, you allways just wake up before you hit the ground.
They say it is because, if you didn't wake up and actually hit the ground. Your body might assume it was real, and your heart may stop.

And you ...will never wake up again.

So, anybody ever noticed that in violent dreams you also, allmost never really feel the hits, when you hit someone.
Why would that be?

Last night I dreamt I did hit a person, and felt every blow thundering through my own arms. His head was between my fists and the floor, between anvil and hammer.
I hit him so bad, I allmost decapitated him.
I killed him.

The thing with dreams is, that we actually are pretty much alive when we live them. And whatever goes on there is real life experience, and shapes character, just as our waking experiences do.
Even tho, less vividly and less direct.
The experiences do not leave our personalities, our souls and yeah even our bodies.
Conditioned thus, these actions may find echo in our waking state.

And while i am not THAT strong to do that to somebody, i am alarmed, anyway.

This morning also listened to De Profundis from Oscar Wilde, I really shud update my book section, those two mentioned are finished since last week.

Anyway, in De Profundis mr. Wilde is talking about sorrow and his darker years when he was jailed and how these affected him.

Having my own youth wasted long time ago, it was nothing new he said. Sorrow and misery are very importand aspect of life to shape someones personality. The garden of Life has both sides. When you have never lived one of those two, you are incomplete as a person. And by default are just one of the masses that blindly follows every trend that is offered them. Most of the time not even realizing it as thus.
The kind of ppl without any wisdom, doing as they are told, living by ideals of others, having not a single original cell in their body.

jest did my halloween shoppins
First i'll be cooking somethin, then drink guinness and watch classic b/w horror movies
Then go out and visit a few Halloween parties.
Next day visit my grandad at the cemetary(when its dark and with a huge hangover pro

The shoppin was a bit frustrating coz they didnt have what i wanted, i wanted to make stuffed game/wild duck steamed/roasted on green cabbage with smoked bacon strips.
But they didnt have the damn duck!
only dumb chickens, but to get anything remotely special i just got me two unfullgrown roosters instead.
If u cant get the bird u want, u stuff whatever is available hahaha jk

And when buying the pumpkin, they made me pay by weight and i think since i got a bio-pumpkin it was by piece, gdm fuckerzz
and i wanted besides ordinary bones fer the soup also a marrow bone, but they only had veal bones, and i dont wanna pay 5 euro for a damn soupbone! so no marrow bone

And then i didnt have enough room in my bag fer the guinnes!
So had to go home, dump stuff, then go to another shop to buy guinness.

Its been knawing on me fer a while now that i shud do something usefull again.
I still plan to relax a bit more, before looking fer work.
But not that long anymore, and after a nightly chat with a girl that is actively looking fer work it made me think even more about my options.
First of all, after last year i got pretty disgusted of being behind a pc all day.

So i'd like something more physique. I even seriously think about joining the army, but chances are slim. I am kinda in shape, but i am actually literally at the age where they say "stop". And yeah, i dont feel like running in the woods and doing a whole education with a bunch of dumb kids either :/

So if i dont do that, this means i'd have to look for ordinary work in my line of studies.
As an engineer ICT/Electronics this often more than not means a boring deskjob on sum pc(that gets paid VERY well). But unlike most engineers i got besides an A1 also an A2 in electronics, means i shud try and apply for a job which is not just software but also hardware involved. And that may be less boring

Also last year i had 7 men under me, i was managing them.
I kinda liked telling them what to do, even if i didnt know it myself hahaha. But i guess in a company, jest graduated, u dont get a manager job straight away. Even tho maybe if i apply in sum factory, they allways need ppl to tell and watch their workers what to do. Ordinary workfolk tend to be lazy and do nothing if u dont put a mean asshole like me in front of them telling them they shud be busy n shit hahaha.

Also a girl who was in the same class as me said that when i went looking fer a job i can apply at her company anytime, she gets a bonus fer all engineers that get hired coz of her. And as she explained, her job is mainly going to restaurants and doing business diners. So thats like discussing business over a restaurant meal.
Knowing me, that sounds like a job fer me doesnt it, hehehe,
She says her good figure has gone to hell now she got that job, hahaha, i can only imagine..

Then there is also that car thing again, often guys who do my level of fucntion get a company car as part of the deal.
A cool car, a big BMW or Mercedes or sumthing.
And the car gets bigger with every promotion, u only have to pay fer the gas. So this again means i'd sooner or later have to do all that driving license shit again, that i told u about in previous journal/bulletin.
