*) JEFF MILLS is zonder meer een van de belangrijkste dj’s in de geschiedenis van de elektronische muziek. Van alle Technopioniers in Detroit eind jaren 80 slaagde hij er zowat als enige in om de status van populaire ster te bereiken zonder de erkenning van zijn collega’s te verliezen. Aan de zijde van ‘MAD MIKE BANKS’, oprichter van het mythische ‘UNDERGROUND RESISTANCE’, een van de meest gerespecteerde labels ooit, zette hij zijn eerste stappen in het genre in wording. De start van een ware muzikale vernieuwing was een feit.
Twintig jaar later is hij meer dan ooit één van de meest toonaangevende artiesten van deze beweging, en met zijn overweldigende dj-sets brengt hij zijn geluidsuniversum over naar alle uithoeken van de wereld. JEFF MILLS creëert, als grondlegger van het genre, ook vandaag stukken die zonder schroom als ware hedendaagse kunstwerken mogen beschouwd worden.

,is voor mij nog altijd de koning van de Techno ondanks dat hij niet meer van de jongste is geboren op 18 juni 1963 in Detroit.Maakt naam als radio-dj "THE WIZARD".Hij is verantwoordelijk voor de detroitsound.

*) Richt samen met Mike Banks "UNDERGROUND RESISTANCE "op.JEFF MILLS heeft zijn eigen platenlabel AXIS records sinds 1991.Later zouden nog PURPOSE MAKER,TOMORROW en recenter MISSION 6277 volgen.Mr.MILLS bracht ook platen uit op andere
labels,oa:Tresor Records uit Berlijn.

*) JEFF MILLS staat nog altijd bekend om zijn dynamische dj-sets,die onlosmakelijk verbonden zijn met het gebruik van Roland tc 909 drummachine en een razendsnel mixtempo!JEFF MILLS heeft door de jaren heen keer op keer bewezen dat hij een van de grootste en meest vooruitstrevende artiesten is.
JEFF MILLS heeft zijn strepen meer dan dik verdiend!!!
Ik volg deze artiest al meer dan 13 jaar,en geen enkele andere artiest doet
beter dan hem.Heeft massa's producties gemaakt!!!
