De eerste namen voor Pukkelpop 2009!
Samen met het eerste lentebriesje waaien ook de eerste namen voor Pukkelpop 2009 binnen in onze kantoren. Op 20, 21 en 22 augustus staat Pukkelpop voor de 24ste keer garant voor het spannendste wat er op muzikaal gebied te beleven valt. Zo bevestigden de Arctic Monkeys alvast hun komst nadat ze te horen kregen hoe hoog ze op de verlanglijstjes van de Pukkelpop-bezoeker staan. Ook electronica pioniers Kraftwerk, Pharrell's hiphoppend clubje N*E*R*D en de poppunkers van The Offspring komen naar Hasselt.

Verder zijn we bijzonder trots op Beirut, Wilco, Phoenix en Bon Iver, bands die ongetwijfeld voor kippenvelmomenten gaan zorgen. De elasticiteit van je lichaam kan je testen op de tonen van top-dj's als Dave Clarke, Eric Prydz, Grooverider en Tocadisco of tijdens de live sets van Martin Solveig, Vitalic en Alter Ego. Uiteraard moet ook iemand het zware werk verrichten op de Pukkelpop-weide. Bereid gevonden dit jaar: Opeth, Anti-Flag, Life of Agony, Mad Caddies en - uiterst exclusief - de reünie van Kurt Cobains favoriete band The Jesus Lizard. Meer nieuwe namen volgen binnenkort.

Pukkelpop 2009 vindt plaats op donderdag 20, vrijdag 21 en zaterdag 22 augustus op de festivalweide in Hasselt-Kiewit. Alle informatie is terug te vinden op www.pukkelpop.be .

Les premiers noms pour Pukkelpop 2009!
Les premières bises du printemps apportent les premiers noms pour Pukkelpop 2009 dans nos bureaux. Les 20, 21 et 22 août, Pukkelpop garantit pour la 24e fois ce qui se fait de mieux dans le domaine de la musique. Les Arctic Monkeys ont ainsi déjà confirmé leur venue après avoir entendu à quel point ils avaient été réclamés par les visiteurs de Pukkelpop. Les pionniers de l'électronique Kraftwerk, le club hip-hop de Pharrell N*E*R*D et les pop-punks de The Offspring viennent également à Hasselt.

Nous sommes également fiers de présenter Beirut, Wilco, Phoenix et Bon Iver, des groupes qui devraient sans aucun doute vous donner la chair de poule. Vous allez pouvoir tester l'élasticité de votre corps sur les sons des meilleurs DJs comme Dave Clarke, Eric Prydz, Grooverider et Tocadisco, ou encore pendant les shows live de Martin Solveig, Vitalic et Alter Ego. Nous avons bien entendu également trouvé des groupes prêts à faire du très lourd dans la campagne de Pukkelpop cette année, comme Opeth, Anti-Flag, Life of Agony, Mad Caddies et (énorme exclusivité) la réunion du groupe préféré de Kurt Cobains, The Jesus Lizard. D'autres noms seront communiqués prochainement.

Pukkelpop 2009 aura lieu les jeudi 20, vendredi 21 et samedi 22 août dans la prairie du festival à Hasselt-Kiewit.

The first Pukkelpop names!
As the first spring breeze makes its way into our offices, we also welcome the first names to the Pukkelpop 2009 line-up. On 20, 21 and 22 August, Pukkelpop's 24th edition guarantees the most exciting that the music scene has to offer. Arctic Monkeys confirmed their presence after finding out how high they were on the Pukkelpop visitors' wish lists. Electronica pioneers Kraftwerk, Pharrell's hip-hop collective N*E*R*D and the pop punk band The Offspring will also be coming to Hasselt.

Furthermore, we are particularly proud of Beirut, Wilco, Phoenix and Bon Iver, bands who will definitely create a few goosebump moments. You can test the elasticity of your body to the sounds of top DJs such as Dave Clarke, Eric Prydz, Grooverider and Tocadisco or during the live sets of Martin Solveig, Vitalic and Alter Ego. Obviously, someone also has to do the rough work at the Pukkelpop festival. This year's volunteers are Opeth, Anti-Flag, Life of Agony, Mad Caddies and - extremely exclusive - the reunion of Kurt Cobain's favourite band The Jesus Lizard.
