  Het Summerfestival 2008 belooft nog indrukwekkender en beter te worden dan de fantastische edities van de voorbije jaren !
  Het is alvast hét event om het begin van de vakantie, en voor velen het einde van de examens, met een stevig feest in te zetten.
  
  Verwacht je opnieuw aan een top line-up, een combinatie van het betere hardere werk en de lekkerste groovy electro beats. Opnieuw met tal van nationale en internationale toppers !
  
  Dit in het schitterende kader van het strand en water van de Lilse Bergen.
  De productie zal ook weer wat verder gaan met de allernieuwste technische snufjes voor een audio-visueel spektakel van het hoogste niveau !
  Er zullen 3 keer zoveel togen en barpersoneel voorzien worden zodat de drankbediening dit jaar optimaal zal verlopen.
  
  De festivalcamping opent reeds op vrijdagnamiddag en zal dit jaar ook geoptimaliseerd worden om wachttijden tot een minimum te beperken.

  Zaterdag 27 juni zal het enige echte Summerfestival opnieuw het festival zijn om de zomer mee in te feesten !
  
  Het Summerfestival verhuist naar een nieuwe, veel grotere prachtige locatie : het gloednieuwe festivalterrein "Nieuw-Zuid" in Antwerpen. Dit festivalterrein zal Vlaanderen's meest centrale en wellicht knapste festival-site worden. Reeds enkele maanden is de aanleg van het terrein in volle gang, en ook de komende maand wordt er verder gewerkt om het terrein op en top te maken om er deze zomer tienduizenden jongeren te ontvangen.

• Extra parking tips!

  
  
  It’s going to get really busy at Antwerp South this Saturday..
  
  Keep in mind that the “Sinksenfoor” (the big fair located nearby) occupies the normally huge parking space at "Vlaamse & Waalse Kaai" and all parking space near the water (De Schelde) will be extra occupied..
  
  You might want to consider leaving your car at Linkeroever at the "Beatrijslaan", on the other side of the water (De Schelde).
  If you don’t feel like swimming across, there are two tunnels you can use to get to the other side easily by foot or bike:
  
  First there’s the a pedestrian/bicycle tunnel atop the Kennedy Tunnel. This one connects the "Beatrijslaan" (Linkeroever) with the "d’Herbouvillekaai" (Rechteroever). You’ll surface topside just south of the festival area.
  
  The second option is the Sint-Anna Tunnel, connecting the “Van Eeden Plein” (next to the Beatrijslaan) at Linkeroever with “Sint-Jansvliet” at Rechteroever. This tunnel is also reserved for people who prefer taking the bike or walking to the Nieuw Zuid festival area.
  
  These two tunnels provide excellent alternatives for anyone who prefer easy ways to reach Summerfestival 2011!

• Extra public transportation by DeLijn

  
  
  Good news for everyone who doesn't feel like walking home after Summerfestival. Public transportation company DeLijn has been so kind as to add extra busses and trams for anyone who needs a ride home on Saturday June 25th!
  
  We want to make sure that everyone gets home safely so check if any of the following connections gets you home, safe and sound!
