Tips voor een geslaagde examenperiode

Gezonde voeding tijdens examens

• eet niet te veel maar ook niet te weinig
• neem 3 of 4 lichte maaltijden per dag

Sla het ontbijt niet over!
• vermijd het gebruik van grote hoeveelheden suiker (frisdrank, snoepgoed, koekjes,...).
• voorzie regelmatig lekkere en lichte tussendoortjes bv. fruit, een kop melk, yoghurt, .... Deze zorgen er voor dat je bloedsuiker op peil blijft.
• vermijd een te vette voeding. Vetten verteren traag en bezorgen je een loom gevoel
• zoek je energie in grove graanproducten (volkorenbrood, havermout, muesli,...), groenten, fruit en melkproducten
• eet niet tussen je boeken. Beschouw je maaltijd als een ontspanningsmoment en neem er voldoende tijd voor.
• eet 's avond niet te veel en niet te laat omdat dit tot een slechte en onrustige slaap kan leiden.
• vitamine-en mineraalpreparaten zijn overbodig wanneer je evenwichtig eet.
• Alcohol wordt het best gemeden tijdens het blokken omdat het je concentratievermogen duidelijk aantast. Een glaasje bier of wijn voor het slapengaan kan wel helpen om je te ontspannen.
• Cafeïne, o.a. in koffie en coladranken, zorgt voor een verhoogde waakzaamheid en het uitstellen van de slaap. Tracht het koffiegebruik te beperken en stop 's avonds met het drinken van koffie.
